I am a dedicated tutor with a degree in English. I use my creative writing and rhetoric and writing skills to teach students what they need to know about writing, grammar, and editing. I had a teaching emphasis in my last college course, allowing me to teach middle school and high school grade levels. I have worked in Seattle and South Korea. I have also taught various courses in Albuquerque at the University of New Mexico.I enjoy helping students see how the outside world relates to their schoolwork. I like to incorporate their personal interests into the things I teach, and also strive to assist them in meeting their personal and professional goals. Each student is capable of handling the work at hand, as long as they have the desire to do so.I will not only tutor students in subjects like writing, literature, and college essays, but I will also assist with basic skills, like adding a citation page to an essay or handling research.Teaching is a passion of mine, but I also enjoy some time to myself. During this time alone, I like to run and read as much as possible. I also enjoy traveling, and do so whenever I get the chance.
